Argentina

Estadio Olímpico de Córdoba
Estadio Malvinas Argentinas is a football stadium in the city of Mendoza. It was built in 1976 in preparation for the 1978 FIFAWorld Cup. It has a capacity of 48 000 spectators, although it doesn't provide seating for all of them.
The stadium used to be named Estadio Ciudad de Mendoza, but was renamed amidst the patriotism that the Falklands War sparked in Argentina in 1982.
After the arrival of Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba at the Primera División Argentina, the stadium started having a wider use, because until 2006 no football team from Mendoza had ever reached that level.
