Hindmarsh Stadium

The Hindmarsh Stadium is a stadium located in Adelaide, South Australia. It is the home of the A-League football team Adelaide United FC. The stadium underwent a major upgrade in time for the 2000 Summer Olympics, an event where it hosted several football games, including a quarter final. The stadium has a capacity of 16 000. In the past, the stadium hosted Adelaide City and West Adelaide SC home games. The stadium was originally known as the Hindmarsh Oval and was the home ground of the Australian football club West Torrens FC from 1905 to 1921.
