Tivoli-Neu
Tivoli-Neu is a multi-use stadium in Innsbruck. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Wacker Tirol. The stadium holds 30 000 and was built in 2000. Tivoli-Neu was named after the original stadium, which could be found on a different place next to the Sill River. It was closed down in 2004, four years after Tivoli-Neu was opened, and had a capacity of 17 000. FC Wacker Tirol was formed in June 2002, and plays their home games at Tivoli-Neu. The club regard themselves as the spiritual continuation of the team FC Tirol Innsbruck, who went bankrupt in 2002.
