Tofik Bakhramov Stadium

The Tofik Bakhramov Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Baku. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It serves as the home ground of FK Baku and PFC Neftchi Baku. FK Baku won their first national championship in 2006, PFC Neftchi Baku won several national championships and is one of the most prominent teams in Azerbaijan. PFC Neftchi Baku also played in the Soviet Top League. Its best achievement was the third place in 1966. The stadium holds 29 000 and was built in 1952. It is named after football referee Tofik Bakhramov.
