Jan Breydelstadion
The Jan Breydelstadion is a football stadium in Bruges. The stadium, owned by the city, is the home stadium of Cercle Brugge KSV and Club Brugge KV. Club Brugge KV is the most successful club of the city, winning several national cups and championships. The stadium has 29 000 seats and was built in 1975. It is named after Jan Breydel, an instigator of the Bruges Matins, the insurgent that lead to the Battle of the Golden Spurs. The Jan Breydelstadion was one of the venues of the Euro 2000 football tournament held in Belgium and the Netherlands.
