Stade du Pays de Charleroi
Stade du Pays de Charleroi is a football stadium in the city of Charleroi. It was built for UEFA Euro 2000, held in Belgium and the Netherlands. It replaced the old stadium, known as Stade du Mambourg. The only tenant are Royal Charleroi SC, one of the major football clubs from Wallonia. The capacity of Stade du Pays de Charleroi was 30 000 for UEFA Euro 2000, but was reduced shortly after to 24 000. During the tournament it hosted matches of England, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, and Yugoslavia. 12 goals were scored in those three matches.
