Estadio El Campín
Estadio El Campín is the main stadium of Bogotá. It is the home ground of CD Los Millonarios and Independiente Santa Fe. The name El Campín comes from a modification of the word camping because the area where the stadium currently stands was formerly a camping zone. It entered service as a football stadium around 1946, just in time to host the first national club tournament. Its actual capacity is of 48 000 seated spectators. It was used as the final venue for the Copa América in 2001, where the Colombian national football team were crowned champions of South America.
