Neo GSP Stadium
The Neo GSP Stadium is a football stadium in Nicosia. It is the largest stadium in Cyprus, with a capacity of 22 000. It was built in 1999 and serves as the home stadium of AC Omonia, APOEL, and Olympiakos Nicosia. The Cyprus national football team also plays its home games there. The stadium is owned by the Pancyprian Gymnastic Association. The stadium was inaugurated by the then President, Glafcos Clerides, and Archbishop Chrysostomos I. The first game held there was a friendly match between AC Omonia and APOEL, which ended 3-3.
Because of the conflicts in the Middle East, the stadium was home for Israeli football clubs for the UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League matches.
