St. Andrew's
St. Andrew's is a football stadium located in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. It has been the home of Birmingham City FC since 1906 and has a seating capacity of 30 000.
St. Andrew's was discovered by former player, director and chairman, Harry Morris. He saw a wilderness of stagnant water and muddy slopes off Garrison Lane, Bordesley Green, and envisioned a football arena. A band of Gypsies had lived on the site for quite some time, and it is widely believed that when they were asked to move from the site, a curse was placed on the football club.
