Stadion am Bruchweg is a football stadium in Mainz. The stadium is able to hold 20 000 people and was built in 1929. It is the home stadium of 1. FSV Mainz 05. After the Second World War, 1. FSV Mainz 05 didn't play at Stadion am Bruchweg for two years. In 1947 the club resumed playing at the stadium. The highest attendance at the stadium was 24 000, in a match between 1. FSV Mainz 05 and 1. FC Nürnberg in 1965. 1. FSV Mainz 05 played their UEFA Cup games in the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, due to the Stadion am Bruchweg's limited capacity.
