Tamale Stadium
The Tamale Stadium is a stadium in Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region. The stadium is used mostly for football matches and serves as the home stadium of Real Tamale United, the most successful football club from the city. It looks the same as the Sekondi-Takoradi Stadium. The stadium's capacity is 20 000 people and was completed in 2008 by a Chinese construction company. It was one of the four venues to host several matches during the 2008 African Cup of Nations, the tournament for African national football teams.
