Fatorda Stadium
Fatorda Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Margao. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Churchill Brothers SC, Dempo SC and SC Goa, some of the most prominent Indian football clubs. Dempo SC won the inaugural I-League, the highest football league in India. The football club, also known as the Whites, is owned and sponsored by the Dempo group of companies. The stadium can hold 35 000 people, making it the largest stadium in Margao. It was built in only six months. Fatorda Stadium also hosts cricket matches.
