Stadion Jakabaring
Stadion Jakabaring is the main stadium in Palembang. It is used mostly for football matches and has a capacity of 40 000. It was built in 2004 and Sriwijaya FC is the only tenant. Stadion Jakabaring was one of the eight venues used for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup football tournament. The only match at the stadium was the match between Saudi Arabia and Oman, which Saudi Arabia won 4-0. Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam all hosted several matches during the 2007 AFC Asian Cup. It was the first time four countries organised the tournament.
