Kyushu Oil Dome

The Kyushu Oil Dome, also known as the Oita Stadium or Big Eye Stadium, is a stadium in the city of Oita. It is primarily used for football, and is the home of Oita Trinita. It was designed by Kisho Kurokawa and built by KT Group, Takenaka Corporation. The stadium opened in May 2001 and holds 43 000 people. It hosted three games during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Belgium, Italy, Mexico, Senegal, Sweden, and Tunisia played one game at the stadium during the football tournament. All national teams scored at least one goal at the Kyushu Oil Dome.
