Fukuda Denshi Arena
The Fukuda Denshi Arena is a football stadium in Chiba. It was completed in 2005 and is home of JEF United Ichihara Chiba following their move from the Ichihara Seaside Stadium. The club was founded in 1946 as Furukawa Electric FC. In 1987 the club won the Asian Club Championship, the highest football tournament
for clubs in Asia, recently known as the AFC Champions League. The stadium has a capacity of 19 000.
Originally named Chiba City Soga Football Stadium, Fukuda Denshi, a medical electric instrument manufacturer, won the naming rights outbidding several other candidates.
