Nissan Stadium

The Nissan Stadium, once known as the International Stadium of Yokohama, is a football and athletics venue in Yokohama. The stadium was inaugurated in March 1998. It is the home stadium of Yokohama F. Marinos, one of the major football clubs in Japan. The stadium has 72 000 seats, making it one of the biggest stadiums in East Asia. It hosted three first-round games during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, and the final game between Germany and Brazil was played there, which was won by Brazil after two goals from Ronaldo. It also hosted several finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, including the game between São Paulo FC and Liverpool FC in 2005.
