Euroborg
The Euroborg is the home of FC Groningen and has a capacity of 19 000 seats. It replaced the Oosterpark Stadion. The Euroborg site houses a casino and a movie theatre, a school, a supermarket, and a fitness center. A railway station at the stadium opened in late 2007. The seats are completely in the club's colours: Green and white.
Besides the nickname de Groene Hel, the Green Hell, it also is called de Groene Kathedraal, the Green Cathedral. The first official match at the stadium was between FC Groningen and their arch rivals SC Heerenveen, which the home side won 2-0.
