Lerkendal Stadion
The Lerkendal Stadion, built in 1947, is the home ground of the Norwegian football giants Rosenborg BK. It is located in Lerkendal in the city of Trondheim. The stadium has a capacity of 21 000 and is an all-seater. The highest ever attendance was 28 000, in 1985 when Rosenborg BK played Lillestrøm SK in the final match of the season. The stadium was planned in 1933, but was not finished until after the Second World War. Lerkendal Stadion had initially only temporary stands and dressing rooms. Floodlighting was built in 1968. To meet international standards the floodlighting was upgraded in 1996.
