Stadion Miejski w Poznaniu
Stadion Miejski w Poznaniu is a stadium in Poznań. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Lech Poznań. The stadium holds 24 000 people and was built in 1980. Currently it is being reconstructed and expanded and all stands will be covered in the near future. Lech Poznań, the only tenant of the stadium, is named after Lech, the legendary founder of Poland. The club, founded as Lutnia Poznań, changed its name several times. From 1933 until 1994 the club has been linked closely to the Polish State Railways.
