Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa
Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa is a football stadium in Leiria, built as a venue for UEFA Euro 2004 and as a new home for the city's main football club, União de Leiria. It has a capacity of 30 000, making it one of the biggest stadiums in Portugal. The stadium was designed by Tomás Taveira and hosted the 2006 SuperCup Cândido de Oliveira in a game which FC Porto won against Vitória FC. During the UEFA Euro 2004 finals, the stadium hosted Croatia's matches against the national football teams of Switzerland and France in Group B.
