Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium
The Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium is a stadium in Doha. It has a capacity of 15 000 and is mostly used for football matches. The stadium was originally built in 1974 and was rebuilt in 2004 for the Gulf Cup of Nations.The only tenant of the stadium is Al-Sadd SC, one of the major football clubs in Qatar.
It is also used by the national football team of Qatar. Al-Sadd SC signed former PSV Eindhoven and FC Barcelona striker Romário de Souza Faria in 2003. He was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 1994 and one of the most famous Brazilian footballers in the world.
