Stadionul Dan Păltinişanu
Stadionul Dan Păltinişanu is a stadium in Timişoara, built in 1960. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 32 000, making it one of the major stadiums in Romania. FCU Politehnica Timişoara is the only tenant of the stadium. The club was established in 1921 and is one of the most popular football clubs in the country, although the club isn't one of the most successful teams. The stadium is named after Dan Păltinişanu. He was a Bucharest born defender, who played several years for the local squad and became a legend.
