Seoul World Cup Stadium

The Seoul World Cup Stadium is located in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. It has been home to K-League club FC Seoul since 2004. FC Seoul is the most popular football club in the city. The stadium opened in 2001 and has an all-seated capacity of 68 000, making it one of the largest stadiums in South Korea. The most famous game at the stadium was the Semi-final of the 2002 FIFA World Cup tournament between South Korea and Germany. The Seoul World Cup Stadium also hosted games of France, PR China, Senegal and Turkey during the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
