Busan Asiad Stadium

The Busan Asiad Stadium is a football stadium in Busan that was used for matches of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. It has a capacity of 53 000, making it one of the major stadium in South Korea. The stadium also hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Asian Games. It is the home stadium for Busan I'Park of the professional K-League, the highest football level in the country. During the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the stadium hosted the matches between Paraguay and South Afirca, South Korea and Poland, and France versus Uruguay.
