Hasely Crawford Stadium
The Hasely Crawford Stadium, located in Port of Spain, is named after Hasely Crawford, the first person from Trinidad & Tobago to win an Olympic gold medal. Originally built as the National Stadium in 1980, the stadium was re-named to honour Hasely Crawford in 2001. The stadium holds 27 000 people, making it the largest stadium in Trinidad & Tobago. It is the home of the national football team and Defence Force, Jabloteh and Superstar Rangers, some of the major football clubs in Trinidad & Tobago. It also hosted the final of the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship.
