Stade Olympique de Sousse
Stade Olympique de Sousse is a stadium in Sousse. It is currently used by football team Étoile Sportive du Sahel. It was used for the 2004 African Cup of Nations. The stadium holds 25 000 people, making it one of the larger stadiums in Tunisia. Étoile Sportive du Sahel, often referred to as Étoile du Sahel, is one of the main football clubs in the country. It was founded in May 1925. In English Étoile Sportive du Sahel means Sport Star of the Sahel.
The club was founded during a public meeting at the French-Arabic school in the Laroussi Zarrouk Street.
