Qwest Field

Qwest Field is a stadium built for American football and football. It is located in Seattle and serves as the home of the Seattle Sounders FC football team. The American football club Seattle Seahawks are the other tenant of Qwest Field. The stadium opened in July 2002 and was built on the site of the Kingdome, the previous stadium for NFL's Seattle Seahawks and MLB's baseball team Seattle Mariners. In March 2000, to make way for the construction of the stadium, the Kingdome fell in the world's largest implosion of a single concrete structure.
