The Home Depot Center
The Home Depot Center is a football stadium in Carson, a few miles south of
Los Angeles. Its title sponsor is major hardware retailer The Home Depot.
The $150 million complex was developed and is operated by the Anschutz
Entertainment Group. The 27 000 seat main stadium was designed specifically
for football. It is home to both the Los Angeles Galaxy and CD Chivas USA of
MLS. Former CONCACAF Champions' Cup winners Los Angeles Galaxy became famous for signing English football star
David Beckham in 2007. The main supporter group of their rivals CD Chivas
USA is primarily Mexican.
