Robertson Stadium
The Robertson Stadium is a sports stadium in Houston, located on the campus of the University of Houston. The current listed capacity of the stadium is 32 000. It is the home of the Houston Dynamo Major League Soccer team and the Houston Cougars American football team.
Houston Dynamo was founded in 2005. They have played at the Robertson Stadium since their foundation. A 3-year lease was signed to play at the stadium, after the lease Houston Dynamo will move to a new football-specific stadium. The team is owned by majority owners Anschutz Entertainment Group in partnership with Brener International Group, and multiple world and Olympic boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya.
