Ninian Park

Ninian Park is a football stadium in Leckwith, Cardiff. Currently, it is the home ground of Cardiff City FC, one of the few Welsh football clubs that competes in English football leagues. The stadium features large floodlights in each corner and a plasma screen television showing highlights during the game. The television was bought by the club in 2002 from Bolton Wanderers FC, who had previously used the screen in their former ground. Ninian Park was officially opened in September 1928 with a capacity of 18 000 spectators. The record attendance for a Cardiff City FC match at Ninian Park is 57 000 against Arsenal FC in 1953.
